Description

Dr. Rosebella Langat founded Chepsangor Hills Coffee to revive Nandi coffee and uplift her neighbours. With her husband, Sami, she built a factory with a low-water eco-pulper so local growers can process cherries and access specialty markets where they can
achieve higher prices for their coffee.

Bila Hewa - Swahili for “without air” - is a naturally processed and
anaerobically dried coffee.

Rosabella & Sami have been perfecting their “sleeping bag” method for several years now, which involves a closely monitored, slow and semi-anaerobic drying period for the cherries, depending on the time of day and sunlight.

Tasting Notes

blueberry, dates & melon
syrupy mouthfeel

Brew Method

Hario V60
