Rui Ruiru

Located in Mathira West, Nyeri County, Rui Ruiru Coffee Factory is a historic washing station that has undergone a remarkable revival.

Once part of the renowned Mathira North Farmers' Cooperative Society, the factory was celebrated for producing exceptional coffees before operations declined and eventually stopped around 2014.

In 2020, Rui Ruiru Factory was revitalized and now works with smallholder farmers across the surrounding highlands of Nyeri, producing coffees that reflect the region's classic profile of vibrant acidity, structured sweetness, and remarkable clarity.

Rui Ruiru expresses notes of raisin, pineapple & brown sugar, delivering a rich sweetness balanced by bright tropical fruit character.
